Think College Now Is a California Distinguished School!

One of OSSF's founding schools, Think College Now (TCN) was one of only three Oakland schools to receive the state's prestigious Distinguished School award this year.

Honored to even be asked to apply, TCN drew on more than 20 staff and community members to write and edit (again and again) the rigorous application. Based on strength of application, the committee chose a small number of schools for site visits. They spent an entire day on TCN's campus, observing classrooms and meeting virtually everyone connected to the school. They came away impressed, and the rest is history.
