Services

The Oakland Schools Foundation specializes in:
• strategic planning and operational coaching
• evaluation and performance management coaching
• administrative support
• partnership building
• all aspects of fund development from fundraising campaign planning and coordination to grant writing and funds processing
• communications plans and marketing materials
• collaborative program coordination

Schools may chose among several service packages: School Growth Plan, School Fund Membership, and Funds Processing Service, as well as out-of-package services from the a la carte menu, including Evaluation & Data Management services.

OSF works with schools that:
• serve majority low-income students
• are results-oriented and mission-driven
• have empowered entrepreneurial leadership
• cultivate collaboration and family leadership
• are focused on student personalization and innovative curriculum

OSF takes a tiered approach to prioritizing services for schools: some schools may meet only one criteria while others meet some or all; as our first priority, OSF strives to meet the needs of schools that are under-resourced.
